The article 70 or bust is an article that i have to agree to. But in my opinion for this to happen, there need to be two cultural changes:

1) Workers must be willing, at some point, to accept a salary which is lower than the one they had before. Currently, there is such a strong expectation of rising pay with seniority that workers are unwilling to take a lower paying job. Even when they are unemployed. Even when they have been unemployed for several months.

2) Employers must be willing to hire workers who are over 55 years old. (As actual employees, not as temporary consultants.) Currently, the management view seems to be that anyone older is not going to be cost-effective. Combined ...
