Day the World Stopped Turning

The day was September 11, 2001 and for most people it is a day of infamy. 9/11 was a terrorist attack where two planes were hijacked and flown into the world trade center. This hijack of these planes resulted in around 2,996 deaths (Statistic). This terrorist attack was formed and done by horrible group called al Qaeda. This event changed the world in so many ways, this attack tried to make America fall apart, but it only made America stronger.

what that must have been like. Watching two planes crash into the twin towers, the two tallest buildings in New York must have been unreal (FAQ). Smoke everywhere, people running around frantically, and people not knowing what was happening is very scary to think about. The fact that almost 3,000 people were killed in this terrorist attack is crazy and unheard of. It raises the question of how did these terrorist get away with such a thing. That is something that the people will not know and are pissed off about, because the security should have been tighter or certain other precautions should have been taken. This event changed the world and the lives of many people. Not only families, but America was devastated by these attacks. America did not hold back, they fired back.
