One of the most popular times to introduce an advertisement is during the Super Bowl. This offers advertisers one of its potentially widest television audiences. It is also a very desirable audience, because unlike most audiences, rather than flipping from channel to channel, individuals are more intent upon staying with one channel. The audience also tends to be male, reasonably wealthy, and young, thus all possessing factors that insure the audience members have a great deal of unlikely to be saved, potential 'consumer dollars' to spend on a wide range of products. One reason why younger audiences tend to be desirable as well to advertisers is that they tend to be more likely to change their buying patterns and try new products. This is one of the many reasons why Pepsi's Britney Spears 'Generation Next' ad was so hotly anticipated.
