Babysitting Is More Than Sitting Around

Babysitting is more than just sitting around watching a child. It requires a lot of patience, attention and even having a strong bond between you and the child. As the morning sunshine creeps through the window and awakens me. I slowly rise up out of my bed while my grandson is still asleep. As I look at him lying sound asleep, the feeling of love overwhelms me to know that my day of babysitting is about to begin.

and begins to play with it. Watching him as he plays with his favorite toy I can see the happiness that it brings to him. Sometimes a child can get very active with things that he or she is playing with. So I must watch him or her very carefully to make sure that no accidents occur. When we are outside in the yard and he is playing I make sure that no one or nothing is around him to cause him bodily harm. This is something that is done daily due to the simple fact of how the world around us is. Some of the supplies of a babysitter are shelter, food, and protection. In order to be an effective babysitter you must have a place where you can provide the quality service needed. If there is no food then how will the child be able to eat? Protection is a major supply because the child should feel protected at all times while in the babysitter care.
