Bridge to Terabithia

Bridge to Terrabithia is a very exciting book. It tells about a boy that is lonely and has no one to play with. Then he finds out that he is getting new neighbors. So He tries to go make friends with them and while he is doing that, he finds out that they have a daughter named Leslie, Jess made friends with her and they had no place to play. They go in Leslie’s back yard and built a clubhouse and name it Terrabithia.
His life changed the day he met his new neighbor’s daughter. They met each other at the fence that divided their properties. She introduced herself as Leslie. Jess and Leslie went to school together. They became best friends. They didn’t have anywhere to hang out so they ...

died. When Jess came hone, he couldn’t wait to see if Leslie wanted to go to Terrabithia. He went over to Leslie’s house and knocked on the door. Leslie’s dad answered the door, Jess said, “May I speak to Leslie?” Leslie’s dad said, “Son she died.” He was obviously upset and in disbelief, Jess started running, he went straight to his house.
He started dreaming, one of the dreams he had was that he was laying down and thinking maybe this isn’t real or maybe I’m being tricked because I didn’t go to Terrabithia with Leslie. Then, he woke up and started screaming no…no…no…NO!!!!!!!!!!! This cant be happening to me! The next day was Leslie’s funeral. Jess went, and during the funeral he got so upset that he ran away. Later he went home and crawled in his bed and cried himself to sleep. The next day, he went to Terrabithia and remembered all of the things that he and Leslie had done.
