Their fans look up to them as role models do not see that they are in fact sick and think that if they copy their methods they will become as skinny as the celebrities. Many celebrities have had to fight eating disorders through their careers. Kelly Clarkson, Diana Princess of Wales, Lady Gaga and Lily Allen are all examples of famous people who have developed disorders throughout their careers. Though the celebrities have lost the weight through illness people see this transformation as inspirational and think following their path would make them look the same. The extreme measures that the celebrities take to ensure they look beautiful are worrying and definitely something people should not look up to.
