When it comes down to my community the first thing I think of is the dangerous situations you can find yourself into. This can also affect the community as well by sending the crime and death rates up. Which is why I believe the most pressing issue in my community is, parents protecting there children from unpredictable dangers and teaching them how to avoid them especially.
Most children grow up having their parents nagging over and over again telling them to never talk to strangers. It isn't too hard to understand why parents worry about their children's safety so much, since some kids fall into strangers' traps in life so easily. assaults. Parents can regularly read newspaper or watch television simply to know what goes on in the community. Parents can also learn from past incidents by looking at the news and analyze each incident and be aware of the settings of it, so they can know where to allow there children to go.
Teaching children how to avoid dangers is very well necessary and can very well help out the community. Therefore, parents should not be the only ones who read the news. Instead, parents can talk about past incidents with their children. For example, parents can ask their children about certain situations that have happen and see what they know and think about it and through these discussions; children will become more alert of the potential dangers. Parents should also teach there children when going out they should always keep an eye on there surroundings even if they know the area fairly well.
