Effective Meetings
Having effective meetings within a company has many benefits and few drawbacks. It will generally aid both the meeting holder and the meeting attendee with time management and overall efficiency. Although integrating the idea within an existing company culture may sound like a daunting task but it proves not to be impossible. My final case analysis will attempt to tackle the integration of effective meeting solutions within company culture.

An important decision to make prior to organizing your meeting is to determine whether your meeting needs to be held at all. Since some of the issues brought up in the survey mention that some meetings weren't necessary, an organizer should review what they would like to accomplish. If information being provided doesn't require feedback, perhaps in the form of updates, then maybe an email will be fine. However, if a consensus needs to be reached, or detailed feedback is needed, then a meeting would be warranted. ""The best way to determine whether a meeting is a good idea is to ask whether the transfer of information is one-way." (Farivar, 2007)
