your knowledge but it wasn’t right to misuse that knowledge. But he explains himself as it was his passion and he can’t control it. It’s the fact that Victor lacks the knowledge of emotions and feelings about a person. Missing that, he didn’t understand what making a person would cause. The monster killed people and Victor felt misery because he bought the creature into life. In our society we held the parents responsible for every action their children take. If they do something wrong, we think of it as the parent’s fault because the parents didn’t teach them well enough. Victor never thought about the consequences of what his passion would lead to. Victor thought of himself just as an irresponsible parent that didn’t care well enough for their child.
