Genius vs. Mad

Many believe that there is a thin line between creativity and madness. An idea for centuries, people believe that being considered a genius heightens the creative mind among artist, writers, and musicians (Marano 2007). But what is the link? The historical figures in time, the ones we label as genius, share a commonality of personality traits and mental disorders. These illnesses are what label genius' mad.
