Golf And Its Environment


Golf courses, by most standards, are good for the environment; but you always have those people that say they aren’t. If a golf course were bad for the environment then there would be pollution, noise, destruction of the natural resources, and devastation of animal habitat.
A golf course has none of those characteristics. Although a golf course has mowers and carts there are only good things that the golf course can do for the environment. A golf course corrects itself because of the trees, grass and other forms of plant life that help break down pollution.
As for noise, there is absolutely no noise on the golf course because golf is a game of concentration. Not many people can focus ...

golf course is bad for the environment. Golf is one of the best sports for the environment. A majority of the time it uses natural resources and occasionally improves its landscape. A golf course can make an open field of tall grass into a lush, green, tree-lined maze.
The idea of destroying animal habitat could be a good argument but most of the time you see more animals come to the course or to the surrounding area because of its peacefulness and beauty. Animal rights activists are still arguing that it is still destroying the habitat of some the native animals. Because of this courses are now putting in protected areas where golfers or any people are not aloud to go. If you looked around the course and watched for animals you would see more in that small area than you would in a park and the animal rights activists don’t complain about the construction of parks.
You could say that a golf course is bad for the environment but after reading about both sides of the argument ...
