In resent debates congress is arguing that gun control should be pushed in to schools through several programs. The author is trying to make the argument that gun violence in schools and streets are because of the slack laws and enforcement that we use. The violence is pointed towards the gun sellers and the shows that are put on about guns. The should spend a little less time trying to make a big case out of it and point the finger and the parents that are not raising their children correct.

In a 1997 report by the Centers of Disease Control it says that American Children under the age of fifteen are twelve times more likely to be killed by gunfire than twenty-five other industrialized nations. Basically my question is who really cares about twenty-five other nations? The facts that are presented should be base on kids and adults not on us and some other nation. The point is that in the past few months or even years the multiple homicides at schools by teens are because they obtained firearms by ease.
The author talks of the programs that should be proposed to stop the violence. The school based peer mediation programs promotes the use of group talks and tension reduction. The program helps students learn how to prevent violence before it happens through problem solving skills.
