Hitchcock Film Review

This series of Hitchcock films are full of suspense and thrills. Alfred Hitchcock started as a silent film producer and very soon after he moved to Hollywood. He very often portrays violence, murders, and many crimes. Hitchcock was born in London on August 13 1899 and died in Los Angeles, he is still to this day called the master of suspense. Something many people don't know is that the Hitchcocks in 1940 bought 200 acres in Santa Cruz mountains and this is where they spent most of their lives.

The first of the six movie we watched in class is The Man Who Knew Too Much, there is an older version from 1936 but we saw the 1956 version with James Stewart, Doris Day, Bernard Miles, and ...

take this problem into their own hands. This film is a very mystery because the McKennas go to Africa expecting a nice family trip but in reality it turns into a crazy vicious circle of lies and murders. This movie is not a good movie in my mind because it is so hard to keep and up and stay attentive when the movie is so old. Coming from the new era that the Generation X is born in, it is difficult to watch such an old movie because of the differences included. Such as the actors english is weird, and the way everyone dresses and acts in public, and even the way that the married Jo and Ben act towards each other. All in all this was a good movie though, say for instance if a new age producer redid this movie it would be a exciting thriller murder mystery.
