Point 1: Before you can change your tire, you first need to make sure you have the necessary items to do so. Make sure you always have an inflated spare tire, a tire iron, and a jack handy in your car in case of emergency.

Main Point 2: Here are the steps.

1. The first thing you will need to do, is find a flat surface, and a safe place to change your tire. If your are on the side of the road, make sure you park as far away from traffic as possible, and turn on your hazard lights.

2. The second thing you need to do is put your car in park, and apply your parking break, to safely secure your vehicle.

3. Next, get out your spare tire, and your jack from your trunk.

4. Place the jack under the frame near the tire that you are going to change. Make sure that the jack is in contact with only the metal portion of your car's frame. If you don't place the jack in the right spot, it will crack the plastic when you start lifting. Raise the jack until it is ...
