Ignorrance Is Bliss

I like the way Harvey Danger said it in '97 in "Flagpole Sitta'", "Been around the world and seen that only stupid people are breeding, Creatons cloning and feeding". Im sure he didn't have to travel far to come to this conclusion. This is what I see every day. Not just in school, school is actually where I meet the brightest people throughout the day. Maybe, I thought, it is because I work at a fastfood resteraunt, at a truck-stop in a redneck county. Then I began to realize that people who are much more stupid than any of my co-workers and customers walk the streets every day in business suits and ties.

really find the stupid people. Many of them seem totally clueless to their own ignorrance. If , than these people must really be happy. Television is definately not the only place to run into stupid people however.
In business class we had an assignment to read and discuss an article titled, "Fatal Attractions". The article discussed the four August deaths of rollercoaster riders. It discussed the reasons for these incidents, settlements recieved by the families, and further impacts the deaths had on amusement parks nationwide. It seemed as if the whole country was freaking out about these incidents. It is not as if the amusement parks claimed these rides to be totally safe. It is well known that rollercoasters have been blamed for deaths in the past, and accidents happen every year.
