There are many controversies over whether building new relationships with strangers is more considerable than maintaining friendships with familiar people. Some people think old friends are more helpful and reliable, so more efforts should be taken to save the connection with them. Others hold a belief that new friends bring about remarkable benefits, so they pay more attention on widening friendships to unfamiliar people as much as possible. I personally agree with the latter viewpoint for some following reasons.

have to convince them that I am a reliable and an attractive person. By practicing doing it many times, I can learn such words and manners that help me communicate attractively and efficiently. More importantly, I could get rid of my shyness through chatting with unfamiliar people. I know better how to control my nervousness in front of new guys and I am able to hold a conversation comfortably and confidently.
