Meet Up

Dear Mrs. Morrison,

It has come to my attention that very recently Yuka asked you if she could attend the Tumblr meet up occurring this coming Saturday. I find this rather unfortunate that you did not grant her permission to attend. I have never personally been to one of these events, but I can guarantee that it will be a very fun experience for her. We do not intend on going out to this event merely as an excuse to go out drinking or whatever it is stereotypical teenagers are thought to do, but to rather meet new people within Toronto who share similar interests as us.

We have all been educated very well by wonderful parents such as yourself, and know all too well from over 10 years of discipline on the matter not to do such things. We realize that the world can be a scary place and the people within it even more frightening, but there is also much good in it too. More than what meets the eye in fact. The people we will be seeing for the first time in our lives are ones just like myself and Yuka, who run a blog for fun on a website. But I do not see it as just a blog on a website, but rather a united community made up of teenagers and adults who all want to feel accepted somewhere. We all laugh at each other's stupid jokes, cry from stories that we can all relate to, feel anger from situations we all find disgusting, and literally comprehend the whole spectrum of emotions in a matter of hours. All through this one website.

Now I don't mean to sound cheesy or clichĂŠ here, but to be honest ...
