The use of mobile phone is widespread in today's society, which service people in calling, texting, research and entertainment. However, they are becoming a distraction in our everyday lives. The investigation conducted shows evidence of the impact mobile phones have on memory recall. On the left, in the blue, are results showing the words recalled when not texting as an average overall and on the right, in the orange, are results showing the words recalled when texting. This proves and supports the hypothesis showing that the overall words remembered when not texting is greater than when participants text.
