In "10 Unsettling Trends Started By Tiger Moms" the author explains the ways most eastern parents raise their children. They want their child to learn multiple languages, have little to no play time, and even prepare for college during preschool. These are just three of the ten, the amount of pressure is unimaginable to most western children. They are pushing their children to be the best, but not realizing that the child will grow up not being a well-rounded adult. They may be able to solve equations but can they hold conversations? Eastern parents only care for academics, also they think of the arts outside music as a "a waste of time for students." Most western parents, on the other hand, know not to just have their child focus on academics.
