When World War II broke out, on September 1st, 1939 with the invasion of Poland by the German Army, there had already been a war going on in China for almost two years. Most know of the war crimes committed by Nazi’s during the war and many know of the war crimes trials that took place once the war had finished. What most people don’t know is of the war crimes and atrocities the Japanese Army committed on the Chinese years before Hitler’s “final solution” almost came in to fruition.
