There are four basic health care model systems that we recognize out of the 200 countries on our planet. They are all different but have the same basic goals in mind, Healthy people, helping sick people, and protection from high medical bills. The four different types of health care systems are The Beveridge model, The Bismarck model, The National Health Insurance model, and The Out-of-pocket model. Short waits, good quality care, Insurance is sold on a nonprofit basis and has many regulations, Things are paid for without a fight, pre-existing health care problems don't matter, Health care cost and prices are set by the state , and there are still private hospitals and physician practices. Today there are many countries that use this method such as Europe, Germany, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and Japan.
The National Health Care model is where an individual job makes a finical contribution to the federal government's insurance fund like Medicare. Every system is slightly different but they all influences the prices of care, puts a limit of what is covered, and limits services. Some countries that use this model are Canada, Australia, South Korea, and Taiwan.
