Odysseus And Bill Clinton: A Comparison
Odysseus was allowed to linger in other women�s beds, but his wife was not allowed to sleep in other men�s beds. According to The Odyssey, written by Homer, Odysseus was gone for 20 years, slept with many women, and the very first thing this pretty boy thinks about when he gets home is if his wife has been cheating on him! Odysseus tried to make himself look like a superman, but infact he: bawled like a baby many times; told his family and others that he was forced to �linger� in Circe�s and Calypso�s beds; and mutilated hundreds of viscous suitors in cold blood!

But, still he sat on the shore crying, supposedly wanting his wife!
In addition to Odysseus�s infantile, he, like Bill Clinton, had some affairs. His first affair was with an enchantress named Circe. Circe had turned some of Odysseus�s men into wild pigs, and the only supposed way to turn them back was if Odysseus would �linger� with this �poisonous flower�. His second affair would be with the goddess Calypso. After losing his ship and all his men, Odysseus floated on a log in the sea and banked at Calypso�s Island, where she would invite him to eat, drink, and �linger� with her. This he did. However, he claimed to have been thinking of his wife the whole time. Yeah right! Don�t you think if you were thinking of your wife, you wouldn�t �linger� with someone else?
