Born in a poor family, my father and several of his brothers were sent to military schools for their education. Interested in medical careers, he studied pharmacy throughout his school years and later got a license as a pharmacist. However, he realized that pharmacy was not what he wanted for his career. Pharmacists and medical doctors study almost entirely the same thing, but all pharmacists can do is counting pills at drug stores. He wanted to do more than that; therefore, he then spent several years of study and training at the Chinese Air Force Medical School.
