Personal Writing: My Life

After nine long months of living in a swimming pool, I finally became a member of the human race. On July 16th, 1982 my parents named me “Meng Meng” which literally means “dream dream". I think they named me that because their dream was embedded in me. I grew up in a very happy family environment, and under the great care of my parents, I am now a very happy, and healthy girl.
When I was young, I was always cheerful and blissful. Both of my parents had stable and respectful jobs, so we never had to worry about money. little time for that. Therefore, I gave them a Chinese riddle. I said I would talk to anyone who could answer it. The riddle is: What can walk without legs, eat without a mouth, pass through a river that has no water, and die without a soul? The answer is Chinese chess. The next day I got an email from someone who got the correct answers. She also said “Making friends is a very serious thing, why are you using a riddle to make friends? Now that I answered your questions, can I be your friend?” She is now one of my best friends.
I have been a good girl all my life. But my life has yet begun. I know there’s so much more to do and so much more to see. I want to travel, go on adventures, experience suspense, to challenge myself, and to eventually excel at what I do.
