is usually taking trips to Serbia. The summer of ninety-eight is when I attended my first soccer game for my favorite club Red Star. I only dreamed about going to a game since I started playing soccer at the age of four, but living in the United States it was difficult to make it to games throughout the year since I was occupied with elementary school and soccer practice. My parents held off going to a game until they felt I was of the appropriate age to witness violence if it happened to break out. I remember being told stories from my father how he experienced the games when he was a kid, and what effect those games had on him. Realization hit when my uncle bought tickets for us to the game. I was finally ready to witness the most Historic Club in Serbian Soccer History.
