As the Maryland election comes to a end in the upcoming weeks let's take a look at events and different perspectives from people on the two candidates.
The race for Marylandâ€™s governor started with many hopeful candidates and now there is only two left. The two candidates left are Ben Jealous and returning Larry Hogan. Larry Hogan has led in voting percentage basically the whole election but there is still a chance for Ben Jealous. Larry Hogan has led by double digits the entire election and the closet the race has gotten is +15. The Governor's race has heated in the last few weeks. In Baltimoreâ€™s Lauraville community some residents are split on the two candidates. In the midway and lauraville I personally saw more signs supporting Ben Jealous rather than Larry Hogan. These signs donâ€™t tell the whole story from because the polls tell a different story. From the few people I've talked to I would say the older voters wanted to still have Larry Hogan in office. â€œIt would be nice if there was more events that help kids out going on in our neighborhoodsâ€ said Jordan Johnson who is turning 18 in November.
