The next three weeks is called red phase, red phase is the more physical and mentally tough portion of basic. You will go through obstacle courses and a lot of running. Then you will do pugles. Which is hand to hand combat training. Through red phase you will learn well the basics. Learn how to march, walk, talk, and hold the M16. The next flag is white this means you will be in white phase for the next 4 weeks. White phase is going to ranges and shooting everyday and cleaning your weapon.
