We live in a world where people have the right to choose their own personal form of religious worship. Many people truly do believe that without the presence of religion in their lives that their life has no meaning. The writings of Dennett have both strong and weak points that I can relate to.
According to the argument presented by Dennett, people of all walks of life are donating monies towards worship. These funds should be use to help the organization to function properly and help those who are also struggling at times. Personal religious beliefs should be based on these factors:

What a person believes after he or she has studied and learned the word of God and has accepted the writings of God as true
Make a conscious decision to apply the things learn to his or her life
Live according to the beliefs learned from the good book rather than words spoken from man who is incapable of totally be truthful.
