The soliloquy that had the most impact on me is the one of Act 2 Scene 2. It occurs after Hamlet, Polonius, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern met the greatest actors in the world and watched a short performance, all while Hamlet was keeping up a faУЇade of being insane. Afterwards, everyone left Hamlet alone and he began to express his true thoughts.

In this soliloquy, Hamlet states how impress he was with the actors performance although they didn't really feel the emotions they've shown. He then ponders the thoughts of them acting out his feelings. "Had he the motive and the cue for passion / That I have?" He then realizes that he lacks visible emotions and ...

So far Hamlet was inert due to internal conflicts. He desires to seek revenge but he is clearly not yet capable to kill a man and fears punishments. He bottles great anger towards his mother and his uncle but only expresses these feelings through words and not action. "Why, what an ass am I! This is most brave, / That I, the son of a dear father murder'd, / Prompted to my revenge by heaven and hell, / Must, like a whore, unpack my heart with words, / And fall a-cursing, like a very drab, / A scullion!" Hamlet also faces another dual, the doubt and love of this father's ghost.
