Four years ago I arrived at work where I was a staff nurse on an Alzheimer's unit. I got myself situated then began to receive morning report, my supervising nurse assigns me to provide care for eight residents, one of whom is Mrs. Travis, a 65 year old woman who has Alzheimer disease. She was admitted to the facility/unit two days ago. My supervising nurse tells me that I have to watch Mrs. Travis closely because she frequently wanders up and down the halls looking into every room she passes.
