my turn with butterflys in my stomach and my heart wanting to jump out of my chest. The first bullrider climbs into the chute onto a big brown long horned bull thats just a snortin and blowing snot and moving around alot. The cowboy nods his head and the red and white chute gate opens with a clang. The crowd becomes silent for a second and then roars to the cowboy hiting the ground. He runs back to the chutes with a slight limp to his left leg from hitting the hard ground and turns around to see hes safe then tips that dirty black hat to crowd.
As I stand up to see the huge crowd gazing over the dirt covered arena and watching the performance put on by the brightly colored clowns im overwelmed by the anouncer calling my name saying im up next. The butterflys go away my heart crawls back down into my chest and I begin to sweat a liitle in total concentration of the ride im prepared to make.
