Which event in Act III of Romeo and Juliet had the most negative effect on the lovers?

The play written by William Shakespeare named â€œRomeo and Julietâ€ has many significant events to portray and support the main message. Each event symbolizes a theme and engages readers to comprehend the play better. The event that had the most negative effect on the lovers in Act III was when Mercutio was killed, because that event helped lead onto other events causing more disaster between the lovers.
