During her childhood Simone felt a deep sympathy towards the working class. She announced herself a Bolshevik at the age of only ten years but later she became very critical of Marxism because she understood the real oppression of proletariat that was done by bureaucrats. Later she became involved in a worker's movement and even worked on a factory. She felt that this will bring her closer to working class. (Simone Weil - Biography). After witnessing the terrifying war in Spain Simone rejected Marxism and pacifism in favour of anarchism, she joined the anarchist parliamentary group (Simone Weil (1909 - 1943)).
