Facebook has a status feature that allows people to quickly type in whatever they want. It is used often and most status’ are what people are doing and how they are feeling. This feature lets you see what your friends are up to without having to ask them. It allows people to gain glimpses into their friend's lives and feel as if they know what is going on. This can be especially helpful for people. If a friend's birthday has been forgotten, people can simply send a gift through Facebook or a birthday greeting.
