There are many emotions that make us up as human beings: love, hate, happiness, and sadness. Some would even say that it's emotions that make one human. But what happens when a human lacks important emotions, like guilt or remorse? What is a human without a conscious? They are a sociopath; humans that don't bother with empathy or guilt. They are pathological liars, thieves, superficial charmers, master manipulators, cheaters; all of these words are synonymous with sociopaths. But what really is a sociopath?

not necessarily antisocial at all. In fact, most of them are quite the opposite and are much more charismatic and charming than the average individual. They are social predators that like to charm and manipulate to get what they want. They are con artists, and they know exactly how their victims tick. What's most dangerous about these people is their total lack of guilt or remorse, or more simply put, complete lack of a conscious, or more specifically, the super ego part of the conscience. Sociopaths are lacking in the part of the brain that distinguishes right from wrong. They memorize the rules of society, but they do not inherently understand why something is right or wrong.
