I agree with this statement to a small extent that post-war problems led to strikes and riots from 1947-1954. This is because there were many post-war problems such as lack of jobs, severe shortage of food, water, electricity, and housing. Also, people lived in slum conditions; diseases were common due to overcrowded living conditions, poor sanitation and lack of health services.
