Our nation's escalating pregnancy rate continues to be a major concern. Over one million teenage girls become pregnant each year. In the next 24 hours, about 3,312 girls will become pregnant. Teenage pregnancy isn't a rare thing nowadays, a matter of fact its an everyday thing. It is the third of the major problem in society and is slowly decreasing but the number of girls getting pregnant is still too high.

Despite all that, the truth and reality of that matter is teens are still going to have sex and become pregnant no matter what other people say or tell them.
The United States has the highest adolescent pregnancy rate in the developed world. As statistics show one in nine women between the ages of 15 through 19 become pregnant each year. Upon reading these I also learned that every 26 seconds a teenage girl becomes pregnant and every 56 seconds a child of a teenage mother is born.
