Mike, Ben and I strolled back from our 1 am visit to Coles. Ben was eating his sherbert with one of those little colored spoons. Meanwhile Mike was drinking his two-litre bottle of orange juice and looking very contented, which wasn't his usual manner. Normally, he'd be complaining about life or some other thing but tonight was different.
We began to cross a bridge on the way back to my flat and Ben remarked how inviting it would be to spit on the cars below us. before we'd return to my warm room for the third film. The cold air was only going to have a few minutes to find a way into my impenetrable jacket. It tried getting through my zip, up my sleeves and down my neck, but it still didn't succeed. Neither Ben nor Mike seemed to notice.
