I stood. I just stood there like an elephant in a dark room. No word was uttered. But my feet suddenly dragged itself into the void as if it detects the unseen. I walked. I just walked until my eyes were filled with nothingness. But my mind was full of questions. Questions that unfolded into wishes. Wishes, that are, empty.

There. There she was, extending her hand to me. My small steps began to leave big gaps. Big gaps started to expand. My shivering hand reached out; I knew I had to take it.
