We as a people are living in a time of cutting edge of technology and ideas. We are on the cusp of understanding the human brain and its properties. For thousands of years we as a species were unable to understand it but thanks to new technologies we have begun to understand stem cells, the building blocks of life. The island was set in the near future where clones of people were made and these clones are the cutting edge of technology.
