When the debate over partial birth abortion, or D & X abortion, broke in 1995, the media had to report it. After all, it was being hotly debated in Congress where a ban on this horrific procedure was being considered. The abortion proponents knew that this procedure would repel all but the staunchest abortion supporters. They had to counter it quickly. First, the National Abortion Federation claimed the procedure didn't exist. But, the ruse was quickly exposed with proof from their own organization.
