When you first gave us this assignment I thought it was silly. I thought it was silly because how can a song connect to language art. The song Voices is about a man looking back on his childhood and remembering all the things he was taught as a child. As I grow older, I remember the things I was taught by teachers I have had in the past. Each day is a learning experience for me which will help me when I grow older. It tells me I should always pay attention to what my parents, teachers, preacher and other adults that are trying to teach me things. I don't always want to hear what these people are trying to tell me, but I should still listen and learn from their past experiences.
