My name is squeak. I’m an extraordinary deer mouse with an extra weird story.

When I was just a few months old, I was taken from my home in the forest by horrifying giants. They took me to a warehouse, put me on a table, and tested different types of sticky, smelly substances on me named hair gels. It was terrifying. They kept covering me in the stuff. One time after the put the stuff on me it burned all my fur off right down to the skin. It took me weeks to grow my fur back. They were monsters.

I had even moved my feet fully I was at the door. I was fast. Really fast. So I ran out the door down the street and I wasn’t going to stop running until I reached a forest, a park, or even just a bush.

Five hours later a smaller monster found me. He picked me up and squeezed me really tightly. I shouted, “PUT ME DOWN OR I’LL BIT YOUR WHOLE HEAD OFF YOU MONSTER!” the child dropped me and ran screaming, “MUMMY! That mouse can TALK!” Naturally I freaked out because nobody other than a mouse can understand mouse, which meant I was speaking monster.
