for me when I’m bored. I spend about five hours watching television, while I’m eating, doing my homework and talking on the phone. This is an example how I rather spend my time watching at a screen with pictures and not paying attention to the language, rather than sitting down and reading a book. By reading a book we learn many things, not only to picture the images in our heads but we also learn how to enhance our grammar and our language Reading was a form of entertainment before television was invented. People would spend their time reading, but ever since television was invented the opportunities to read was limited. Some people may just read because they have to, not because they want to. For example, I would only read when I had to. Reading to me only happened when I had to do homework.
