For the nation, for its beliefs, for its people, we must not follow through with this Act.
Our government is proposing to create a new law. Its name, “The Indian Removal Act”. They propose to move Native Americans across the country to the west of the Mississippi. This land, as many are aware of, is insufficient and holds no inducements. The land they hold now ...
