to convey. The dance in this performance is very fluid. The dancers use fluid softer motions to show affection and female bonding. The dance is rather soothing and it shows the love of a mother. The costumes worn even help to show the message of maternal love. The costume worn by the motherly figure is a very motherly looking costume. It is something that you would typically expect to see a mother wear around the house, It kind of reminds me of a nightgown.
The Second performance I saw was by far my favorite one. It was unique, it seemed to combine multiple styles of dance into one. The performance was High Lonesome by the Washington Ballet. This performance was really interesting, although I did not really interpret a meaning from the performance. The costumes of the dancers were all white with the exception of one lone dancer who wore only a pair of orange capris. This performance was excellent it was fast paced, slow paced.
