Nowadays, there is a growing trend that NPOs try to make the world better by sending volunteers to developing countries and other places in need. They certainly make a lot of contributions and have changed the world.
For example, one of the famous banks in Taiwan held a painting contest among elementary students from remote areas from 2009. They asked employees to vote, and the winners win the prize. Apart from that, all students from the contest are invited to Taipei for a free trip. By doing so, students from remote areas are not only helped but also have the chance to see amazing architecture in Taipei.
