This step led to another and another until Texas Instruments was considered the leader of manufactured integrated circuits. The vast growth within the global electronics market, for which Texas Instruments helped to clear a pathway, proved highly successful for the company; as the 1970s approached, Texas Instruments had cornered the market with regard to user-end products.
