African Canadians: Nova Scotia

influence of the African Canadians in Nova Scotia. For several hundred years there have
been Africans in Nova Scotia. Many of them went to Nova Scotia because they were
promised land and freedom, when the reality was that they were put into the same
lifestyle, the lifestyle of slavery, that they experienced in the United States. The history of
African Canadians in Nova Scotia has been very similar to that experienced by African
