Does Freedom of the Press Go Too Far?
[ send me this paper ]
This 4 page report
discusses the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and
questions whether or not the media has pushed too far in terms of
what is “appropriate.” The public response to what it has come to
see as irresponsible journalism and commentators who disseminate
hate, misinformation, and biased judgment, has been something of
a backlash against the First Amendment’s guarantee to the right
of free speech. And yet, there is also significant concern that
if a voice one disagrees with is silenced, there is no security
that an agreed-with voice will not also be silenced.
Bibliography lists 21 sources.

explore doing business in a country, with a not
only a shaky economic system, but also a paranoid
government, the puzzle becomes even more complex,
and there almost seem to be more questions than
answers. If, the over $900 million US price tag,
does not get you, the duplicity of the government
may. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
